Having practiced for over 28 years, Dr. Ergin Er is a renowned plastic and cosmetic surgeon. The Beyazit Primary School in Ankara is where he acquired his early schooling. In Ankara, at the Cubuk School, Dr. Ergin completed his secondary education. He attended Istanbul's Military High School during his senior year of high school. After earning his MD there, he spent a year there as an intern before returning to Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He finished his residency and microsurgery training at the same institution. Also in New York, he attended the Manhattan ENT center's facial aesthetic surgery workshop. At Houston, Texas' Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Ergin Er completed a postdoctoral program. The national and international travels made by Dr. Ergin Er have enriched his professional career. He first served as Chief Military Doctor for the Turkish Navy in Istanbul before working as a plastic surgeon at Transmed Aesthetic Clinic. And subsequently Dr. Ergin also worked at the Anatomica Hospital as a plastic surgeon. For two years in a row, Dr. Ergin Er was awarded first prize as the Turkish Society of Plastic Surgeons' finest researcher. He also won the 2009 ISHRS prize for best researcher. He won first place in the Hacettepe University research competition as well.
