Prof. Dr. Gurhan Ozcan is a renowned plastic surgery expert in Turkey. Dr. Gurhan currently works at Istanbul Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center and has been performing his duties for more than 35 years. He is skilled in the treatment of breast lifts, rhinoplasty (nose surgery), liposuction, tummy tucks, eyelid corrections, otoplasty (ear surgery), neck lifts, breast reductions, breast augmentations, closed rhinoplasty, and revision rhinoplasty. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, the European Association of Plastic Surgeons, and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Prof. Dr. Gurhan Ozcan received his education from a number of prominent institutions. He started his basic medical study in 1977 and received his MD from the Hacettepe University School of Medicine. He then pursued a plastic surgery specialty at the Hacettepe University department of medicine in 1983. After graduating, Prof. Dr. Gurhan Ozcan started his profession, and he has accomplished a lot since then.

He began his career in plastic surgery between 1983 and 1985 at the Turkish Corlu Military Hospital. Then, in Houston, Texas, between 1985 and 1988, he worked as a plastic surgeon for Baylor Medical University. Dr. Gurhan Ozcan served as a research associate at the plastic surgery division of Baylor College of Medicine's Texas Medical Center in Houston from 1988 to 1990. In the years 1990 to 1991, he even spent a full year working as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at the College of Medicine, Texas Medical Center, in Houston. Dr. Gurhan began working at Hacettepe University in 1992 as an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and remained there till 1995.  He then assumed the position of chief executive of the plastic surgery division at Baskent University Hospital in Turkey in 1995, and he has held that position ever since.
