Dr. Serkan Balta is a leading cosmetic and plastic surgeon in Turkey with 10 years of experience. Dr. Serkan Balta was born in Krefeld, Germany, in 1981. His primary, secondary, and high school studies were all finished in Denizli. He finished his medical study at the Antalya Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine after receiving his graduation from Denizli Anatolian High School in 1999. He began his Radiology Training between 2005 and 2007 at Kartal Lütfi Krdar Training and Research Hospital after getting his medical doctorate in 2005. In 2007, he began his specialization at Trakya University's Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department, leaving his Radiology specialty behind. By presenting his thesis, "Reducing Cartilage Graft Resorption with Doxycycline Use," to Erol Benlier in 2012, he finished his residency training. In 2011, he worked in the clinic of Bahman Guyuron, one of the greats of cosmetic surgery in facial and rhinoplasty at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, USA. In 2013, he participated in student and assistant education at Trakya University as a specialist and then as an assistant professor.
